Renzo Marinai - winery in Panzano in Chianti

This small Chianti Classico estate will probably blow you away. All is idyllic and romantic about it - from the philosophy of organic farming to the classical music played to the vino in the barrels in the old cellar rooms - the oldest one dating back to the 12th century. This winery is like a temple where the wine ages away to the tunes of classical music...Renzo Marinai inherited this estate from his father around 25 yrs ago and turned the estate into one of the first organic wineries of the area. Placed in the Conca d'Oro valley of Chianti Classico the position is extremely favorable for red grapes. The wines are delicious and are produced in a limited amount, hence this winery is extremely interesting to visit to get your hands on some of the wines as it is difficult to find on the shop shelves.
