Poggio La Noce - winery southeast of Florence

Enzo and Claire quit the rat-race 20 yrs ago and moved from the US back to Enzo’s fatherland. Claire is French, but had family in Italy and she was particularly excited to start making wine. They found a piece of land with an old house on it, and the work began. They’ve built a small state-of-the-art winery into the hill, small and cozy. The wines range from a white (from Campania – Enzo’s birthplace – from Fiano grapes), to one rosé and several reds made from the estate grown organic grapes that are Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino.
