Poggio Capponi - winery in Montespertoli

The Fattoria Poggio Capponi is a beautiful estate situated in the Montespertoli wine region just southwest of Florence. The estate is nowadays managed by Gioconda who has done a fantastic job renovating the old cellars and making the estate look as beautiful as ever. The winery produces several different wines with the red Chianti Montespertoli is the most typical of their wines, based on the Sangiovese grape. But also some fresh whites, a rosé and a Super Tuscan blend featuring some soft Merlot are part of the portfolio of delicious wines.
