Le Fonti - winery in Panzano in Chianti

This is a true family-run winery in the heart of Chianti Classico, just outside Panzano. Vicky is originally from Germany and has a great Northern European vision on Italian stuff...she runs the winery's bureaucratic side (and fun sides such as tastings) with her very native Tuscan husband who takes care of the winemaking and vineyards. Together with their 3 children, they live on-site, a real "chiantigiana" lifestyle, surrounded by dogs and vineyards! The winery tour is down to earth and comprehensive where you get to see the beginnings of the grapes to the bottling. If the weather is nice, we can sit outside on the patio overlooking incredible landscape and taste a lot of the wines, alongside some fun winery-owner facts in Italy. Not to be missed!
