Fabbrica Pienza - winery in Val d'Orcia

Philippe and Tonie Bertherat have created this unlikely (for Tuscany) modern winery nestled in the undulating hills right in Tuscany’s most beautiful valley region, sandwiched in between Montepulciano and Montalcino. The pristine building shaped like a brick was designed to reflect the brick factory the place was known for in the olden days. Highly modern and functional, yet it blends in very well and gives a sense of warmth. The wines produced match the rest of the this adventurous and slightly unconventional project, they’re delicious!
