This castle is truly a fairy-tale spectacle, adorned with a rich history of noble families and power struggles between Florence and Siena. The last transition, from the Strozzi family to the Albisetti, took place in 1984, marking the resurgence of wine production and the establishment of the current labels.

The family maintains a traditionalist approach to winemaking: adhering to organic practices and exclusively utilizing native grape varieties.
