The winery:
Querceto di Castellina is a small hamlet in the heart of Chianti Classico, a real oasis surrended by oak forest. The estate was purchases by the Iacopini family from Florence and slowly  renovated, first the buildings and then the vineyards. It was with Iacopo that the winemaking  took a turn for the better in the late 90'ies. He decided to take the production to organic certified and bottle the wines under the estate name.
 
This wine:
L'Aura takes the name of Iacopo's mother, Laura, and is the wine that represents the winery the most. An satisfactory every-day Chianti Classico with just the right amount of finesse to accompany charcuterie boards and fresh pasta dishes.
