The winery:
La Sala is a lovely organic winery in the north of the Chianti Classico region, just outside the village of San Casciano. The day to day is run by Lorenzo and Ovidio, two young and enthusiastic brothers, one taking care of the commercial side and the other being the winemaker. The estate is entirely organic and the production of Chianti Classico is here of prime importance.
 
This wine:
The Riserva is a selection of some of the best wine which is left to age for at least 24 months in large wooden casks. A delicious wine with a complex aromas wiith great potential for ageing.
