Chianti Villages: Radda

Updated: Dec 12

Radda is one of those villages that will steal your heart! From its medieval history to its modern-day center for wine and tourism, it has plenty to offer during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. A trip to Radda is worth it just for the views you'll get over the Chianti hills, vineyards, olive groves, castles, and hamlets. Surrounded by excellent wineries producing some of Chianti's freshest and most elegant wines, there are no less than four 4-star hotels in the village and lots of gorgeous countryside accommodations from agriturismos to high-end villas. The town offers small shops and plenty of places to have a snack or a full meal.

I asked my friend Fabrizio from Bar Dante to walk around Radda with me to show us the highlights as he sees them, and we also got talking about his personal story ;)
