Casa del Vino
Reminiscent of days gone by, this charming little “home of wine” hosts mainly organic and biodynamic wines. Gianni runs this wine bar with great pride in its history that goes to the late 18 hundreds and its high-quality products. And just as important as the selection of wines is the selection of excellent foods from porchetta to the home-made green sauce. There are at least 10 different wines by the glass and enjoy a delicious “panino”. So you must absolutely look for Casa del Vino when in the area of San Lorenzo in central Florence.

Divina Enoteca
Under the portico’s in the area of the San Lorenzo market you may find this little gem of a wine bar run by Livio and Bianca who are both Sommelier. They will in all confidence guide you to the kind of wine you might like, and there’s a good choice of small producers from around Italy and Europe. More than 500, in fact.
You can enjoy wines by the glass while nibbling on some local pecorino or choose a nice freshly made ”panino”.

Enoteca Bellini
Camilla runs this cosy wine bar in central Florence, backed by her family. A collection of around 100 different labels, rotating so that you’ll always find something new to taste. You can also pair the wines with a bite of food; from the famed anchovy topped toast, to crostini, cheeses and cold cuts. Camilla is bilingual and is happy to have a chat with you about the wines in the shop. If you have a small group, she can also do tastings in the underground cave.

Enoteca Pitti Gola e Cantina
Back Oltrarno and right in front of the majestic Pitti Palace, you’ll find another of the wine bar gems of Florence. Run by energetic wine lovers, here you can find some fine bottles – some served by the glass. The speciality here is some of the finest wines of Tuscany & Piemonte. You can also enjoy a delightful meal, either here or at their second restaurant down Via Romana called Osteria dell’Enoteca.
