Joinable small group wine tours

The "mixed group wine tour" or "joinable wine tour" option was started in the beginning of the year 2006 and it has steadily caught on as an affordable concept of a semi-private wine tour, shared by wine interested travelers who don't want to go on large impersonal bus tours to the most obvious places.
Since this kind of tour has been very successful in 2006/7, there will be 4 possible week day group tours in 2008 (Tuesdays and Thursdays to the Chianti Classico region and Wednesdays and Fridays to the Brunello di Montalcino region).

The feed-back I've got about the small group tour was more positive than expected by many - as some travelers pointed out to me: some might be intimidated by the sound of "group tours" - it could have a twisted ring to it that leads you think of becoming a part of a busload.

This is obviously not the case since there will be a max participation of 8 people at a time. So for this reason you should feel assured that what you should be expecting is a day of leisure in the wine country together with other English speaking wine interested people.

2008 - the days and the itineraries:

On Tuesdays and Thursdays: the Chianti Classico region with departure from a central meeting point in Florence at 9.30 am sharp. From November 1st to the 15th of March only on Thursdays. The tour will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If less sign up, lunch is extra.

On Wednesdays and Fridays: the Brunello region with departure from meeting point in Florence at 8.30 am sharp (on request pick-up in Siena at around 9.30 am) From November 1st to the 15th of March only on Fridays. The destination will be to the Brunello region only if more than 3 people sign up for it. If only three sign up, it will be changed to a region closer to Florence e.g. Chianti Classico and lunch will be extra.

There will be a fixed meeting point in central Florence for the departure, and the "sharp" means that we will be leaving at that hour, so please be in good time.
When you contact me, I shall give you the availability for the day that you have chosen together with the details of the meeting point, etc.

From March until the end of November:
Chianti Classico joinable tour € 110,00 (Euro) p.p. (departure from Florence)
Brunello joinable tour € 110,00 (Euro) p.p. (departure from Siena)
Brunello joinable tour € 120,00 (Euro) p.p. (departure from Florence)
